Behind Supertarra is a team of three entrepreneurs – Julia and Sanni, who are siblings, and Miro, who is Julia’s partner. In addition to our family ties, we share a strong desire to develop and advance Supertarra by offering a high-quality option for labeling children’s clothes and belongings.
We are all entrepreneurial by nature and already have previous experience in business. At the turn of 2025, we had the opportunity to acquire Supertarra’s operations, and we were immediately excited about it. We already had facilities ready for production, and it didn’t take long before we got things moving and started producing labels for our customers.
Julia and Miro, as parents of two children, know how important it is to label clothes, for example, for daycare. It’s really frustrating when clothes get lost in daycare, where there can be many similar gloves, and on busy mornings, you’re left at home with only mismatched pairs – and the brand-new gloves you just bought are nowhere to be found. Whether it’s any piece of clothing or an accessory – everything needs to be labeled!
Naming labels are also very familiar in our family and have been used extensively! Often the challenge is finding labels that really stick. Clothes get washed frequently, so it’s important that the labels hold up well in the wash and, in addition, look nice.
Supertarra’s naming labels were created out of a real need: a label that works as it should — it stays firmly on clothes without peeling off, and it can be customized with different fonts, colors, and icons. Kids love these labels, and even better, they can choose the design they want for themselves! Before a single sheet of labels was sold, each one underwent thorough quality control.
Labels were tested by giving them to friends’ and relatives’ children (and, of course, on our own kids’ clothes) to see how they held up in everyday life. At Supertarra, we value local production, and all naming labels are made in our own facilities in Ylöjärvi.
So far, the feedback has been very positive, and we hope Supertarra’s naming labels will continue to make life easier for families with children!
Of course, we want to be sure that our customers are satisfied with our naming labels, which is why customer feedback is extremely important to us. We hope that every parent can trust that the naming label will stay in place, withstand repeated washes, and be safe for children—meaning the label should not irritate the skin.
